AS IT TURNED OUT, THE no-clothes rule had a lot of exceptions. I was allowed to wear clothing while exercising, and I was allowed to have things on at supper. I was given a beautiful pink dress to wear to dinner, and Margaret helped me put it on. Then she assisted me with styling my hair and putting on just the faintest amount of makeup.
âPerfect,â she said, examining her handiwork.
âThank you.â
Margaret led me to the dining hall, which really was like this huge sort of banquet room. The table stretched the entire length of the room, and it was big enough to hold at least 40 guests. Genevieve was already seated at one end of the table, and she rose when I stood.
âGo to her,â Margaret said, pushing me forward.
I needed the nudge to get myself moving, so I started walking. I moved as quickly as I could, which wasnât very fast. The dress was easy enough to move in, but I was still nervous. Genevieve made me feel a lot of different emotions that I wasnât ready for. She made me feel sexy and alive and scared. She made me feel uncomfortable, but always in ways that made me even more aroused. It was strange, really, but I thought I was beginning to enjoy it.
âYou look beautiful,â Genevieve said when I reached her.
âThank you, Mistress.â
I heard the doors to the dining room close, and I realized that Margaret had left. There was already food on the table, so I knew we were going to be alone. Should I be worried about enjoying a meal alone with the beautiful beast who had captured me?
Maybe.
Maybe not.
Genevieve reached for me and pulled me close. She kissed me, placing her hands first on my waist, and then she moved them up. She cupped my breasts over the soft pink fabric as she touched me, and then she placed her hands on each of my cheeks as she deepened the kiss.
The way she kissed me was electric. Nobody had ever kissed me like that before, and I suspected that nobody ever would again. She had somehow managed to awaken so many parts of me that I didnât know existed: that I thought had long ago died.
âYou look beautiful,â she whispered. Although sheâd already said the words once again, the second time felt different. It felt less polite. It felt more like a whispered promise.
âThank you, Mistress,â I said again.
âDo you like the dress?â She asked me, carefully running her fingers down the sides of the gown. It really was lovely: all lacy and fancy. Iâd never worn anything like it before.
âYes,â I told her honestly.
âGood,â she nodded. âNow take it off.â
âMistress?â I asked, confused.
âEloise, I allowed you to wear the dress and cover yourself on the way to the dining room. Now, Iâd like to look at you as we share a meal. Do you have any problems with this?â She still had her veil on, but I imagined she was raising her eyebrow.
âNo, Mistress,â I said.
